Owen wilson alleged suicide issue is causing a stir in what could have gone wrong with the previously almost clean record of the most popular and highly rated celebrity movie star. A guy with a bright acting career, with two movies yet to be released, and on the way to shoot another great movie; suddenly decides, for whatever reason, that he's had it. Why I ask?

Owen Taken to Hospital in an Ambulance

Owen Wilson was on a Sunday night taken to hospital in an ambulance after police got report that a suicide attempt had been made at a Santa Monica home. The Owen Wilson Suicide news was far more troubling because the 38-year-old film star had an otherwise enviable reputation. The only blemish against this highly rated and paid actor being the allegation that he could have contributed to a break up of the Kate and Richard Robinson marriage. Or could that have had anything to do with it?

Whatever made Wilson to be admitted to hospital in what all pointers lead to a suicide attempt, must have been so huge that they poor guy didn't see that he was at his prime in the career. You imagine this, you have several Top of the charts rated movies to your belt, atleast two more in the pipeline and on your way to shoot another in a weeks time and then you gone and done it? I mean Wilson could easily have had beuties lining up to serve and even wash him if he wanted. If the Owen Wilson suicide story be true, then what the H@#ll would have prompted it?

Without attempting to speak for movie star or music celebrities, I think they at a certain point loose the grip on the wheel to their destiny. Every Movie star or music, sport celebrity depends on the intense public interest to ride high in the wavs of success. The more the fans the merrier. And the more adoring, the more they want to know what you do when you wake up, where you live, who you date and what restaurants you go to and all. Yours becomes a public live. You are simply put on the watch.

I think, mostly people are looking for some one to follow. Very few look for people to lead.. unless you become a politician... and for them everything goes, including blatant lying. Theirs is an active effort to maintain a following. The problem with most celebrities is that they never learn how to condition their fans and yes the mostly nosy media.

Problem starts when you create the super human nature. And surprisingly most people actually think you may be super human, that you must be different from them in a major way. And then the worst happens and you do something that any human does. Every one comes out sling shots and catapults on the ready. If you fight the fall too bad, the worse it seems to your fans.

However, people also have the contorted image of movie or music icons as people from out of this world. Well folks sorry but these guys are just human. And human they should play, consistently too. The case of Wilson is an example, I think with all the whirl wind movies he has been shooting, he finally may have had too much pressure that it drowned him as a human.

It could be that simple or worse. Crying drugs doesn't really explain Wilsons attempt. If I may why is it that most of the music and film stars succumb to drugs or depression. If statistics were to be done going back 100 years, you would find a very deep correlation with show biz success and drugs at one point in a celebrity's life. Why so?

Where else we may want to judge Wilson harshly or even lower his ratings as an actor its also very compasionate...and I must add human to understand from where he cometh.
